WHAT IS A health Data hackathon?
It is a two day event where attendees form highly interdisciplinary groups of clinicians and data scientists to investigate a clinical question using multiple critical care and imaging datasets.
WHO IS THE health data hackathon FOR?
Doctors, nurses, allied health professionals and anyone interested in improving critical care outcomes – this is for you (no data science knowledge needed!)
Data scientists, biostatisticians, and Machine Learning researchers
Anyone with experience in R, Python, Matlab, SQL, data visualization – come along (no clinical knowledge needed!)
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Groups are formed around clinical questions of interest to be answered by interrogating one or more of the available data sets. At the end of two days, teams present their findings and winners are decided!
WHAT DO I NEED?
Bring your own laptop (don’t forget the charger), be open to working with others and up for the challenge.

Volunteering: Friday, September 20th @ 5:00pm
